I am addicted to the science fiction show Orphan Black. It took a few episodes to get rollin', but now I'm in it deep.
This set is pretty "wow". It is supposed to be a Canadian-low-rent-20-something-gay-artist-flat, with a dash of punk. I love the mix of 60's mod furniture and industrial elements (ex: halogen light, interior walls with windows, etc). It has one of those sliding metal industrial front doors. I love how extremely cluttered it is, but still has a vast open living area.
I think the giant letters spelling RIMBAUD are hilarious because I know someone made a bunch of mood boards about Felix (the tenant) and decided his favorite poet was Rimbaud and he wants to shout it from the rooftops.
Honestly, I knew virtually nothing about Rimbaud, but now I know that he was a 19th-Century-french-libertarian-boy-poet. He did a bit of gunrunning to Africa and eventually died at 37 from some really horrific cancer.
And get a load of this atrium bed platform. Sexy.
